Honda Motor Europe Logistics Ghent goes for ESQOview+ and TruckLOG® TK5

Honda Motor Europe Logistics Ghent was looking for a solution to improve safety around its forklift trucks and reduce the risk of collisions. In addition, Honda wanted to gain more control over vehicle access and a better understanding of its fleet usage.

To this end, ESQUENET MST installed ESQOview+ pedestrian detection cameras, with one camera mounted at the rear of each forklift truck to better secure the blind spot. When a person is in the danger zone, the operator immediately receives a visual and audible warning in the cab.

In addition, TruckLOG® TK5 was implemented for access control and fleet management. This ensures that only authorised operators have access to the vehicles and provides Honda with a clear overview of the usage, impact reports and pre-operational checklists for their 19 forklift trucks.

The installation and training were carried out by the technical team from ESQUENET MST. With this combination, Honda is further strengthening its focus on prevention, safety and efficient fleet management.
