The ESQO digicode is a robust and versatile card and PIN code reader, specially designed for reliable access control in industrial and demanding environments. This access control system combines an integrated keypad with a card reader and supports up to 1000 users, making it ideal for machine, vehicle and zone security.
Thanks to its flexible access configurations (RFID badge, PIN code or card + PIN code), the ESQO digicode can be easily adapted to a wide range of security levels and business processes.
The ESQO digicode is designed to function for long periods in harsh conditions. The zinc alloy housing and IP66 rating guarantee protection against dust, water and intensive use. This makes the system suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, including warehouses, production areas and refrigerated environments.
The system supports multiple access modes:
The built-in card reader works with 125 kHz EM cards and offers a reliable reading distance of 3 to 6 cm. Each user can be managed individually, ensuring a clear access structure and better control over who has access to machines or zones.
The card and PIN code reader has integrated lockout and alarm options to prevent unauthorised use. If 10 invalid cards or 10 incorrect PIN codes are entered within a period of 10 minutes, a security action is automatically triggered.
Depending on the configuration settings:
The integrated anti-tamper function detects unwanted manipulation and immediately activates an alarm when the device is removed or forced open.
The ESQO digicode features:
This feedback ensures clear communication to the user and prevents incorrect operation, even in noisy or poorly lit environments.
The integrated relay can be used in toggle mode, keeping machines or installations active as long as a valid user is logged in. This makes the ESQO digicode particularly suitable for:
The relay and alarm times are adjustable, offering maximum flexibility within security processes.
The ESQO digicode uses master cards for centralised management of users and functions. Master cards allow access rights to be managed easily, without complex software or external tools.
