In environments where industrial vehicles and pedestrians work together, early detection is crucial. SEEN Safety IRIS™860 is an active pedestrian detection system that detects reflective tape on high-visibility safety clothing, significantly reducing the risk of collisions.
SEEN Safety’s IRIS™ technology detects reflective safety clothing in both complete darkness and bright sunlight. This ensures that the system continues to function reliably in changing and demanding industrial conditions.
The sensor is easy to mount on industrial vehicles or fixed infrastructure, at the front, rear and sides. By combining multiple sensors, the detection zone can be expanded and tailored to specific risk areas in the workplace.
Upon detection, the system activates an audible alarm of 94 dB, audible to both the driver and the pedestrian. The detection area is adjustable up to 8 metres, with separate alert and pre-alert zones for a phased warning.
